Since 2007 Hire America’s Heroes, a Fort Lewis, Washington based non-profit, has been working to promote the hiring of military service members, veterans, and military family members. While the group does not work with individual job seekers, they do establish inroads with company recruiting teams & hiring managers.

Hire America’s Heroes understands the value which veterans bring to the corporate workforce, and helps highlight these benefits though outreach & education across the the state of Washington, and the entire United States. The work that the are doing is perhaps more important today, than any other time in US history. Just today CNN reported that “the jobless rate among veterans who’s served since 9/11 rose to 11.8 percent last month. Compare that to the national rate of 9.5 percent. The Army National Guard says this problem is especially troubling among their ranks”.
